Welcome, friend. I’m so glad you’re here. Rooted in Learning was born from my kitchen table and my deep desire to make learning feel alive, joyful, and connected — the way I believe it’s meant to be.

I’m a teacher and homeschool mama who knows that childhood is too short for endless worksheets and rushed mornings. Our children deserve an education that breathes with them — one that honors their natural curiosity, lets them feel the grass beneath their feet, and keeps their hands messy with meaningful work.

We believe learning should be grounded in nature, guided by wonder, and rooted in connection.
Every month, we dive into a thematic unit that weaves together reading, phonics, math, science, practical life skills, and hands-on exploration. Our days are not about checking off boxes, but about following the rhythm of your child — and letting nature be the greatest teacher of all.
